Simple set up and operation allows easy removal of taps anywhere. One key start/stop. Power source choices 110V/220V,50/60Hz. Dielectric Machine uses ordinary tap water as dielectric liquid. Electrodes Uses any brass rod or tube as an electrode. Small size and magnetic base allow machining even on large work pieces. Removes taps with no damage or stress to the work piece. Additional applications include cutting tungsten carbide or any other conductive material. Portability allows one to take the machine to the work and do the hole making or stud extraction work in place. Without the Portable EDM, broken bolts or taps may require removal of the engine head or block in a car or truck in order to extract the broken piece. Additionally, the SFX Portable EDM machine will work in any directions, ie, upside down or horizontally, etc. Most EDM machines are not portable and require that the work be taken to the machine.
